Summary
This study looked at whether having a spouse, partner, or other adult living with you can help Veterans lose more weight in a VA weight management program. About 300 Veterans with obesity took part, and their weight was tracked for 72 weeks. The goal was to see if social support from a cohabitating adult leads to better long-term weight loss.
