Summary
This study tested whether soaking in cold or warm water helps muscles recover faster after a tough workout. Researchers had 30 healthy people do a series of intense jumps to tire their leg muscles. Afterward, participants soaked in cold water, warm water, or did no special recovery, and their muscle strength and soreness were tracked for three days.
