Chill or squeeze? study hunts for best way to ease painful injections

NCT ID NCT07233694

Summary

This study aims to find simple, non-drug ways to reduce the pain people feel when getting a common muscle injection. Researchers will compare two methods—spraying a cold mist on the skin or squeezing a stress ball—against the usual injection procedure. They will measure pain levels in 66 adults in Turkey who are receiving a standard pain-relief shot.
