Summary

This study tests whether repeated shivering from cold exposure can improve how the body uses insulin in people with type 2 diabetes. Fifteen adults aged 40-75 will undergo 10 days of cold exposure to trigger shivering. Researchers will measure changes in insulin sensitivity and fat metabolism using glucose clamps and PET scans.
