Cold plasma could help heal diabetic foot wounds faster

NCT ID NCT07198061

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a special cold plasma treatment, given daily for 10 days after a leg artery procedure, can help heal diabetic foot ulcers faster. About 40 adults aged 18–80 with diabetes and blocked leg arteries will take part. Half will get real plasma, half a fake treatment, and all will receive standard wound care. The main goal is to see if the ulcer shrinks more by week 4.
