NCT ID NCT06802926
First seen Dec 24, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking a low dose of colchicine (a medicine used for gout) every day for a year can help prevent the failure of bypass grafts in people who have had coronary artery bypass surgery. About 100 adults will be enrolled within 3 days after surgery and followed for 12 months with CT scans and clinic visits. The goal is to see if colchicine reduces graft blockages and to gather data for a larger future trial.
