Summary
This study looks at whether adding low-dose colchicine to a single blood thinner (ticagrelor) after heart stent placement can reduce heart-related complications in people with acute coronary syndrome. About 490 adults will take colchicine for one month and then stop if their inflammation levels are low. The goal is to see if this approach is safer and more effective than standard dual blood thinner therapy.
