Summary
This study is testing whether drinking cola can help relieve sudden food blockages in the esophagus of people with esophageal cancer. Researchers are comparing cola to standard care in 50 patients to see if it improves the chance of relief within 24 hours. The goal is to find a simple, non-invasive way to ease this painful and distressing symptom.
