Tiny coils aim to seal off dangerous brain bleeds

NCT ID NCT07291427

Summary

This study is collecting real-world information on a procedure that uses tiny coils to block off a blood vessel feeding a chronic brain bleed (hematoma). The goal is to see if this helps reduce the size of the bleed, prevents it from coming back, and improves patients' quality of life. It will include about 150 adults for whom doctors have already decided this coil treatment is the right approach.
