NCT ID NCT07573683
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a special slow-breathing technique (coherent breathing) to regular aerobic exercise can improve heart and lung health and quality of life in people with stage 1 hypertension (mild high blood pressure). Forty adults aged 30-65 will be split into two groups: one does exercise plus breathing, the other does exercise alone, for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing rate to see if the breathing adds extra benefit.
