Summary
This study looks at whether successfully restoring blood flow in the brain using the Tigertriever device, a tool that removes clots during a stroke, may also help protect cognitive abilities like memory and attention. Researchers will follow 424 adults aged 18 to 75 who had a large-vessel occlusion stroke and were treated with Tigertriever as the first-line therapy. They will compare thinking and memory scores taken shortly after treatment with those at 180 days to see if good blood flow restoration is linked to better cognitive outcomes.
