NCT ID NCT03930251

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 06, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a brain skills training program, called cognitive remediation, to standard early psychosis care helps young adults function better in daily life. The research involves about 117 young people in New York who have recently experienced their first episode of psychosis. It compares standard care to standard care plus brain training, delivered either mostly in-person or partially at home, to see which approach best improves work, school, and social outcomes.
