Summary

This observational study looks at how cognitive status (thinking abilities) relates to functional recovery in people over 65 with hand or forearm injuries. Researchers will assess injury severity, cognitive function, upper extremity function, pain, and grip strength 12 weeks after injury or surgery. The goal is to understand factors that influence recovery in older adults.
