New exercise therapy aims to ease pain and isolation for kids with arthritis

NCT ID NCT06591949

Summary

This study tested a specialized exercise program called BETY, originally developed for adults, in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). The program combines physical exercises, pain management techniques, and group activities to improve daily function, reduce pain, and help with social participation. Researchers measured how the program affected the children's physical abilities, pain levels, and overall well-being, as well as the impact on their families.
