First seen Nov 04, 2025 · Last updated May 31, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at how memory and thinking problems after a stroke affect a person's ability to relearn walking. Researchers will test 65 older adults who had a stroke more than 6 months ago, using walking tasks, thinking tests, and brain scans. The goal is to understand which brain areas help with learning new walking patterns, which could lead to better recovery treatments.
