First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special kind of coffee (high in a natural compound called chlorogenic acid) could help with memory and thinking in people with type 2 diabetes. Forty coffee drinkers with diabetes took online memory and speed tests after drinking either the specialty coffee or regular coffee. The goal was to see if the specialty coffee led to better short-term and long-term memory, processing speed, and mood.
