Summary
This study looked at whether taking Coenzyme Q10 supplements can reduce nerve pain, fatigue, and other side effects in women with newly diagnosed breast cancer who are receiving paclitaxel chemotherapy. Fifty women took either Coenzyme Q10 with their chemo or chemo alone for 12 weeks. Researchers measured nerve damage markers in the blood and tracked symptoms to see if the supplement helped protect nerves and improve quality of life.
