NCT ID NCT07353671
Summary
This study is testing whether a skin solution made from American cockroach extract can prevent or reduce painful skin burns caused by radiation therapy. 60 adults with head and neck cancer will apply either the test solution or a placebo cream twice daily during their radiation treatment. Researchers will compare how severe the skin reactions become in each group and monitor for any side effects.
