First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study planned to test a small device placed in the inner ear during acoustic neuroma surgery to keep the cochlea open for a future cochlear implant. It was designed for patients who would lose all hearing from the surgery. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
