Tuning the Brain's radio: new study aims to sharpen sound for implant users

NCT ID NCT06663917

Summary

This study is testing a new sound setting for people who use a cochlear implant in one ear and a hearing aid in the other. Researchers want to see if this new setting makes sounds clearer, improves the ability to understand speech (especially in noisy places), and makes users more satisfied with their devices. The study will involve 24 adults who are experienced with their current devices.
