Heart bypass patients: is one blood thinner enough?

NCT ID NCT04783701

First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking two blood thinners (aspirin plus ticagrelor) is better than aspirin alone for keeping bypass grafts open in people who had heart surgery after a heart attack. About 360 participants will be followed for 1 to 3 years, and their grafts will be checked with a special CT scan. The goal is to find the best way to prevent graft blockages.
