First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at 360 people who had a heart attack and then bypass surgery. It compares taking just aspirin versus aspirin plus another blood thinner (ticagrelor) to see which better keeps the new bypass grafts open. Graft patency is checked with a special CT scan 12 to 36 months after surgery.
