Summary

This study is testing whether a slow-release stimulant medication called dexamphetamine can help people who are addicted to cocaine and are also receiving methadone treatment for opioid addiction. Researchers want to see if the medication helps people use less cocaine and improves their overall health and quality of life. The study will involve 204 participants and compare the medication against a placebo (inactive pill) over 24 weeks.
