Phone support aims to ease burden for transplant caregivers

Summary

This study is testing whether regular phone coaching sessions can help caregivers of patients waiting for a heart or lung transplant. The goal is to reduce the stress of caregiving and increase the caregiver's confidence in managing their role. The study will enroll about 30 primary caregivers from the Mayo Clinic to participate in the coaching program.
