New gel tested to stop wounds from reopening after breast surgery

NCT ID NCT07408960

Summary

This is a small, early-stage study to see if a larger trial is possible. It tests whether a gel called CO2Lift Pro can help prevent wound breakdown after breast reduction surgery. Researchers will apply the gel to one breast and a placebo (Vaseline) to the other breast in 10 patients to compare healing. The main goal is to check if they can run the study properly, not to prove the gel works yet.
