Summary

This clinical trial is testing an experimental mRNA vaccine, called mRNA-1647, designed to prevent infection with cytomegalovirus (CMV). The study will enroll about 873 healthy participants between the ages of 9 and 25 to see if the vaccine is safe and if it triggers a strong immune response against the virus. Researchers are testing different dose levels and comparing results in people who have never had CMV to those who have.
