New vaccine aims to shield kids from deadly virus after transplant

Summary

This study tests a vaccine designed to protect children from cytomegalovirus (CMV) after a stem cell transplant. CMV can cause serious complications in these patients. The trial will find the best dose and check if the vaccine safely reduces CMV infections. About 80 children will take part.
