Summary
This study is testing a new, personalized approach to prevent CMV infections in kidney transplant patients. It compares a strategy guided by the patient's own immune response to the standard practice of giving preventive antiviral drugs to everyone. The goal is to see if the personalized method is more effective at preventing CMV infection in the first six months after transplant.
