Researchers probe hidden side effects of common leukemia drugs

Summary
This study aims to understand how standard leukemia drugs (called tyrosine kinase inhibitors) affect blood sugar and cholesterol levels in patients. It will observe 75 people with chronic myeloid leukemia who are not diabetic. The goal is to gather information about potential metabolic side effects of these medications.
