Summary
This study tested a hybrid closed-loop insulin system for adults with type 1 diabetes in Scotland. The system links an insulin pump with a continuous glucose monitor to automatically adjust background insulin. Researchers wanted to see how well it worked and how acceptable it was to patients compared to their usual care.
