Smart insulin pump may protect kidneys in diabetes patients

Summary
This study tests whether a fully automated insulin delivery system (closed-loop) can improve kidney oxygen levels in adults with type 2 diabetes and moderate chronic kidney disease. About 76 participants will use either the automated system or standard insulin therapy for 26 weeks. The main goal is to see if the automated system helps kidney health, measured by special MRI scans.
