NCT ID NCT02320357

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This small pilot study looked at whether clopidogrel, a drug that stops blood clots, could lower a substance called sCD40L in people with lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the body attacks itself. The study involved 18 adults with lupus and measured sCD40L levels in their blood. The goal was to learn more about the disease, not to treat it directly.
