First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at whether proteins that control our body's internal clock can help predict how severe asthma will progress. Researchers monitored these clock proteins in the blood and sputum of 50 adults with severe eosinophilic asthma before and during treatment with mepolizumab. The goal was to see if these proteins could serve as markers for disease progression, treatment response, or remission.
