New lupus drug begins human testing

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety of an experimental drug called CLN-978 in people with moderate to severe lupus. The drug is given as an injection under the skin. Researchers will enroll 24 participants whose lupus remains active despite trying at least two standard treatments.
