First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested a two-step treatment for people with untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). First, participants received a standard chemo-immunotherapy combination (bendamustine and rituximab), followed by a year of the oral targeted drug venetoclax. The goal was to see how many patients had their cancer shrink significantly. The study included 42 adults with CLL who had not had prior therapy.
