New drug combos tested for common adult leukemia in japan
NCT ID NCT05105841
Summary
This study tested two different drug combinations for Japanese adults with previously untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), which are types of blood cancer. About 20 participants were assigned to receive either venetoclax with obinutuzumab or venetoclax with ibrutinib for 12-15 monthly cycles. The main goal was to see how well these combinations worked to control the cancer and how safe they were for this specific patient population.
