Cancer treatment break: study tests stopping pills when disease disappears

Summary
This study is testing whether people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma can safely stop their venetoclax treatment when blood tests show no detectable cancer cells. Researchers will follow 81 patients who stop treatment to see if they remain cancer-free for at least 12 months without medication. The goal is to help patients avoid unnecessary long-term treatment while maintaining good health.
