First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study is for people with early-stage chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) who are at high risk of their disease getting worse. It compares a drug called acalabrutinib alone versus acalabrutinib combined with obinutuzumab, an immunotherapy that helps the immune system attack cancer cells. The goal is to see which approach leads to better cancer control and longer time before needing additional treatment. About 120 adults will take part.
