New weekly injection trial offers hope for chronic pouchitis sufferers
NCT ID NCT07226050
Summary
This study is testing whether a new weekly injection called CLF065 can help control chronic pouchitis, a painful inflammation that can occur after certain bowel surgeries. About 20 adults with this condition will receive either the actual medication or a placebo injection for 13 weeks, followed by monitoring. Researchers will track changes in symptoms, inflammation seen during exams, and overall safety to see if CLF065 is effective.
