First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special laser imaging tool (nCLE) to standard bronchoscopy helps doctors diagnose suspicious lung nodules more accurately. About 208 adults with lung nodules will be randomly assigned to receive either standard bronchoscopy or bronchoscopy with the extra imaging. The goal is to see if the new method leads to more definitive diagnoses and fewer repeat procedures.
