NCT ID NCT07352176

First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special laser microscope (confocal laser endomicroscopy) along with a freezing biopsy probe can help doctors get better tissue samples from lung spots. Forty adults with lung lesions will be split into two groups: one gets the standard ultrasound-guided biopsy, the other gets the laser-guided approach. The goal is to see if the new method causes fewer side effects and gives a clearer diagnosis.
