Summary

This Phase 3 trial tested a topical solution called clascoterone for male pattern hair loss. 762 men with mild to moderate balding applied the solution or a placebo twice daily for 6 months, followed by another 6 months for those who responded. The goal was to see if clascoterone could increase hair count and improve hair coverage. Results are not yet available, but if successful, this could become a new treatment option for hair loss.
