First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This Phase 3 study tested a topical solution called clascoterone in 703 men with mild to moderate male pattern baldness. Participants applied the solution or a placebo to their scalp twice daily for 6 months, and some continued for another 6 months. The goal was to see if clascoterone could increase hair count and improve how men feel about their hair coverage. The trial is complete, but results have not yet been released.
