Summary
This study tests whether the drug cilostazol can prevent another stroke or heart attack in 1,100 people in Ghana who recently had a stroke. Participants take cilostazol or a placebo twice a day for two years, along with their usual aspirin or clopidogrel. The goal is to see if this affordable treatment can cut the risk of major heart and brain events in a high-risk, under-resourced region.
