Summary
This study compares two antibiotics, clarithromycin and azithromycin, to treat a lung infection called MAC. About 424 adults with MAC lung disease will receive one of the two drugs, along with other standard medications. The goal is to see if azithromycin works just as well but causes fewer side effects like nausea or drug interactions.
