New drug cocktail shows promise for tough blood cancers

Summary
This study tests a combination of four chemotherapy drugs (cladribine, idarubicin, cytarabine, and venetoclax) in people with acute myeloid leukemia, high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome, or a fast-growing form of chronic myeloid leukemia. The goal is to see how well these drugs kill cancer cells and stop them from growing. About 508 adults will take part, and researchers will track how many achieve complete remission and how long they live.
