Summary

This pilot study tested whether adding psychological support to standard care can improve quality of life for people on dialysis who suffer from severe itching. Sixteen adults with moderate to severe itching were randomly assigned to standard care alone or standard care plus a structured psychological program. The study measured changes in itching-related quality of life after 6 months.
