New knee pain treatment shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tested a treatment called CKD-981 for temporary relief of knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. About 100 adults aged 40 to 80 with moderate knee pain took part. The treatment was compared to a sham (fake) procedure to see if it safely reduces pain when standing or walking.
