Summary
This study tested a new drug called CK-3773274 (aficamten) in 96 adults with symptomatic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition where the heart muscle is abnormally thick. The goal was to find the best dose that is safe and improves heart function. Participants received either the drug or a placebo, and researchers monitored side effects and heart pumping ability.
