First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This real-world study will test whether Ciwujia Capsules or Compound Ciwujia Granules can improve sleep quality and reduce insomnia severity in 40,000 adults aged 18-75. Participants will take the herbal supplement for 8 weeks, and researchers will measure changes in sleep scores and side effects. The goal is to see if this traditional remedy is a safe and effective option for managing insomnia.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Ciwujia Capsules/Compound Ciwujia Granules (herbal supplement)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a natural, accessible option for easing insomnia symptoms without strong side effects.
What could go wrong
This is an early real-world study with no placebo group, so results may be influenced by other factors. The herbal supplement may not work for everyone, and long-term safety is not yet established.
